You've Come To The Right Place
Since its establishment in the early 1970’s, Medius International has helped guide successful global companies through some of the most challenging times.
“I know you’re running. But where are you going?”
We leverage the latest evidence-based Psychology to help our customers solve their biggest challenges and grow their businesses. We do this through innovative and proprietary products that harness the human element in business. Psychology Drives Everything.
We are a global consulting firm that creates shareholder value by driving outstanding customer value. We are big enough to get any job done, yet small enough to make sure it’s always personal.
Integrity, drive, and adaptability. It’s more than words. It’s a mindset. It’s an attitude that we apply to everything we do — because we know that success isn’t a destination, it’s a way of life. Always overdeliver.
Dr. Courmanopoulos obtained his psychological training at McGill, Capella and California State Universities. His career spans more than forty years in clinical, corporate, and entrepreneurial roles at leading global organizations including the Douglas Hospital, E. Merck, Beiersdorf, and Hill-Rom. In 1994 he joined Medius International Inc. where he is presently the Senior Partner and CEO.
Steve believes that the one factor that truly differentiates companies that produce long-term shareholder value is the ability to engage their employees’ drive to the company’s Vision and Mission. This “human element” is poorly understood, despite its dramatic impact on an organization’s performance. In 1994 Steve made the critical discoveries that led to the development of Psychmentation, a powerful market intelligence tool that accesses the most disclosure resistant elements in any human relationship.
Steve describes his company’s activities as part of the growing Corporate Renewal specialty. The turbulence of recent years has resulted in an increasing demand for expertise in managing change and performance. Steve is a member of the American and Canadian Psychological Associations and the worldwide Turnaround Management Association; a small group of specialists who help companies navigate challenging times.

VP Marketing, Global medical devices leader

President, Pharmaceutical multinational
“I liked the way the people at Medius were able to get everyone from a very diverse group of participants contributing to our strategic planning process. We came away with lots of innovative ideas and a real sense of direction.”

President, global rail company
“We believed there was little new to learn about our customers since we invested so heavily in market research and had such close working relationships with them. “Our experience with Psychmentation has been very enlightening! We have collaborated with Medius International for both external and internal interviews; these insights have had a significant impact on our understanding of our customers, our employees and ultimately our business.
